Who Uses BookBuilder

BookBuilder is a service for parents and guardians. Adults create accounts, provide information about their children, and receive personalized books in return. Children do not create accounts, log in, or interact with the service directly.

What Child Data We Collect

When you create a book, you may provide:

Your child's first name
Your child's age
Your child's interests and values
An optional photo of your child (used to generate character likenesses)

How We Use Child Data

Child data is used exclusively to personalize the story and illustrations in your book. It is not:

Shared with or sold to any third party
Used to train AI models
Used for advertising or marketing purposes
Made publicly accessible

Photos are processed by our AI image generation pipeline to create character likenesses. They are stored securely in Supabase Storage and accessible only to your account.

Parental Consent

By creating a BookBuilder account and providing information about your child, you are giving consent as the parent or guardian for that data to be used to create the personalized book. You are the sole account holder and have full control over all child data associated with your account.

Your Right to Delete Child Data

You may request deletion of all child data at any time — including child profiles, photos, and all generated book content. To do so, email support@bookbuilder.press with the subject line "Delete my data". We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days.
